Dr Ram Charith Alva is Assistant Professor & Consultant of Radiation Oncology with 12 years of overall experience. He was awarded the UICC Technical Fellowship in 2018 @ University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, USA. He participated in the UNDSS/CISMU advanced certification training program for health professionals in Asia Pacific & Eastern Europe region in 2017. He has published many papers in national & international journals and is also a reviewer for many prestigious journals. He is also involved in the team training oncologists/professionals coming to our institute from various national/international cancer centers. He has contributed to the institute as member of central museum committee, member of UG student grievience redressal committee, member of internal audit committee of radiation oncology, member of committee of psycho-social skill development for medical professionals as well as internal committee for women at HCG-MSR cancer center. His special clinical interests are CNS/Genitourinary/Gastrointestinal system cancers & Sarcomas; Brachytherapy; Stereotactic treatments.
