Dr Rajendra Prasad B, is a Consultant Vascular and Endovascular Surgeon at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital, Banglore. He has obtained his both primary medical (MBBS) & Masters degree in surgery (MS General Surgery) from JJM Medical College, Davangere, Karnataka.
After which he served his alma mater, imparting his surgical knowledge with both medical undergraduates & surgical postgraduates in varying capacities from Lecturer to Consultant, before he perceived his super specialty degree in Vascular & Endovascular Surgery.
He went on to do his super specialty degree, DNB in Peripheral Vascular Surgery from Jain Institute of Vascular Sciences, BMJH, Bangalore.
He polished his surgical & endovascular skills while he obtained his Fellowship in Vascular & Endovascular surgery (F.V.E.S.), from Paracelsus Private Medical University, Salzburg, Austria.
He is known for his excellence in management of complex peripheral vascular conditions, both by open bypass surgeries as well as Endovascular Interventions with excellent outcomes. He is an expert in managing venous diseases by conservative, medical & endovenous Laser interventions.
His empathy towards the patients, compassion to his duty, art of counselling & comforting the grieving patients with pain, is well known.
He is also active in academics, working as Consultant in Dept. of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery, Ramaiah Medcial College & has been involved in teaching & training of MS General Surgery, MCh vascular surgery students.
