Dr. Nishchit Hegde is a consultant neurosurgeon at Ramaiah Memorial Hospital. After completing his MBBS at SDM Medical College and Hospital, Dharwad, he went on to complete his post-graduation at Ramaiah Medical College in General Surgery before specialising in Neurosurgery.

As a passionate and dedicated neurosurgeon, he has further honed his skills, undergoing training in minimally invasive spine surgery and microvascular anastomosis. In 2017, he completed a neurosurgical observership under the mentorship of Dr. Edward Benzel at Cleveland Clinic, Ohio, USA. Bearing a keen interest in academic and research programmes, he has authored several papers published in indexed international and national journals.
