Dr. Aditi finished her MBBS degree from Lokmanya Tilak Municipal Medical College and Sion Hospital, Mumbai. She then joined NIMHANS for her MD in Psychiatry and continued there for three years subsequently as a senior resident in Adult Psychiatry. She also worked in the specialized clinic for Obsessive compulsive disorder during this period.
