Dr. Nivedita Reshme is an experienced Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, specializing in Gynaec Oncology, minimal access surgeries, transgender health, and adolescent gynaecology. She has a strong research background with many national and international publications.
Outside her medical career, Dr. Reshme has a remarkable sports background. She is presently a Karnataka Cricket Team Selection Committee Member and has represented the Corporate Women’s Cricket Club internationally, has earned accolades in cricket, basketball, throwball, and athletics. Additionally, she has been trained in various disciplines, including Bharatanatyam, badminton, judo, yoga, and archery.
She has received numerous awards, such as the Women’s Day Award in 2022 for her contributions to gender equality and the Best Outgoing Sportsperson Award in 2004.
