The Ramaiah Center for Multi-Organ Transplantation is a comprehensive, state-of-the-art facility dedicated to delivering advanced transplant care across multiple organ systems. The department offers a full spectrum of transplant services, including kidney, liver, heart, lung, and bone marrow transplantation. Each program is designed to provide individualized treatment plans, ensuring that patients receive the most appropriate and effective care based on their condition.
Kidney transplantation services focus on patients with end-stage renal disease, offering both living and deceased donor transplant options with advanced immunosuppression protocols and long-term follow-up care. The liver transplant program manages acute and chronic liver failure, providing life-saving interventions with high success rates supported by modern surgical techniques and intensive care.
The heart transplant unit caters to patients with advanced heart failure who are not responding to conventional treatments, while the lung transplant program addresses severe respiratory conditions, ensuring improved quality of life through specialized pre- and post-transplant care.
The bone marrow transplant (hematopoietic stem cell transplant) program is equipped to treat a wide range of blood disorders, including leukemia, lymphoma, and other hematological conditions, using both autologous and allogeneic transplant approaches.
