Dr. Chirag Rajkumar Kopp is a Consultant Rheumatologist with over five years of clinical experience in the management of autoimmune and rheumatic diseases. He completed his MD in Internal Medicine, and DM in Clinical Immunology and Rheumatology from the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh — one of India’s premier institutions for super-specialty medical training. Dr. Kopp was awarded gold medals in both Medicine and Surgery during his MBBS from VIMS, Ballari, reflecting his strong academic foundation. He has authored over 20 international peer-reviewed publications, contributing actively to the field of autoimmune research. During his DM training, Dr. Kopp focused on Systemic Sclerosis (Scleroderma) as his primary area of research. His key findings were presented at the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) 2022 and EULAR 2025 International Congresses. His full-length original research articles have been published in the Oxford Rheumatology Journal, a leading international publication in the field.
